The Heavy Hitch category 0, three point hitch accessory is a combination category 0 lawn and garden tractor receiver hitch and ballast box adaptor. If you own a lawn and garden tractor with a category 0, three point hitch, Heavy Hitch will introduce you to tractor versatility! Our category 0 receiver hitch and ballast box adaptor brings your tractor the practicality of a 2-inch receiver hitch as well as a heavy-duty suitcase weight bracket…a ballast box and receiver hitch all in one compact unit! The receiver hitch allows you to use the same attachments used in your tow vehicle, turning your tractor into a trailer mover, cargo carrier, sand & salt spreader or whatever else you can plug into a truck’s receiver hitch!
With the suitcase weight bracket, Heavy Hitch offers owners the ability to add up to 6 suitcase weights and up to 290# of ballast to the rear of their tractor, bringing added traction, stability and improved load handling with or without having to use wheel weights. This provides a counter weight for front end loads and prevents the 3 point hitch from raising while towing a trailer. Heavy Hitch operates off of your tractor’s three point hitch and is constructed of 3/8″ plate steel – built to last a lifetime. Heavy Hitch comes with thick 4 mil powder coat in John Deere green or satin black. It’s also available with a stand and wheels, eliminating the need to remove the suitcase weights each time you use it and allowing ease of storage for the hitch and weights.
